Email attachment limits
Gmail allows attachments up to 25 MB; Outlook.com is around 20 MB and many corporate mail servers cap at 10–25 MB. If your file is larger, the email bounces or Gmail switches it to a Google Drive link.
Compressing to 25 MB (or 20 MB to be safe for Outlook) lets you attach the video directly, so the recipient gets it inline without a cloud link.
When the video still won’t fit
Long videos may not reach watchable quality at 25 MB — in that case trim to the essential part, or send a share link. For most short clips and screen recordings, the 25 MB preset produces a clean, attachable file.
